Counterstrike

hi all, could someone explain me how to play music into counterstrike while playing ? .... you will gain creds & rep if it works ^_^

 

Step 1: Grab Portable CD Player and insert favorite CD
Step2: Put on head phones
Step 3: Push Play

You may also need to adjust volume accordingly.....

 

erm couldent you just run a MP3 or CD in the BG

 

you can play your own music on CS?

 

eh I might have misunderstod this but..

1* press esc
2* go to options
3* go to sounds or whatever it's called
4* turn down the sound and mp3 voice and so on

and then as flamey said..

5* Grab Portable CD Player and insert favorite CD
6* Put on head phones/Don't put on head phones just to annoy your mom
7* Push Play

Im not sure. i never used to be able to play mp3s in the background. but now with css i can just use itunes... it works fine :S

 

I know you can on Paintball game because i did!!!

notice that if you hear music while the normal cs sounds are on it sounds really awefull..

 

not true.

i play cs with music all the time. i know for a fact that you can play mp3's while in-game with itunes or winamp. im sure there are others i just do not know their names

if you meant spam music over the mic, you need to convert to .wav's and get HLSS

 

so I need the prog. Portable CD Player to play it ?

Yes you can. Theres one program called Half-Life Sound Selector. Google it and youll find instructions and the program. I never used it before so don't ask me about it.

Another thing to use was released by myg0t. It's called voice annoy. I checked for it on their site and found it here.

Quick note, sound selector is VERY simple to use and both programs require all sounds to be played in wav format, so find yourself a convertor for it as well. Oh and also, these only work in 1.6 as far as I know.
