what do you mean install a mod for CS:S? most mods, such as zombie mod or gun mod should install themselves to your PC when you join a server running that mod. Now install a mod on a server you own is a bit different, you have to put in the .cfg and the textures etc etc, search engines are your friend!
You can add mods yourself through FTP or you can add the preinstalled mods by going to the Mods section within CS Admin and install them. Any mods that they do not have within CS Admin that you'd like installed open a support ticket with the link online that you can find the mod at. LOL Nvm. I help my friend run a server. I was thinking about when you have your own server.
d/l the mod put the files into Code: D:\Steam\steamapps\USERNAME\counter-strike source\cstrike should work when you run the server if not, you will need to create a server.cfg in Code: D:\Steam\steamapps\USERNAME\counter-strike source\cstrike\cfg In server.cfg you will need to exec the mods cfg like Code: exec zombiemod.cfg
