Counter Strike

i will give someone all of my credits if they help me. I intalled counter strike from my steam account but it was left handed and i couldnt change it to right handed then i got advice to change the setting from something to sofware or something like that, now it says this screen mode cannot be played or something like that

i have tried changing my screen settings from
mediam colour bit-16 and i have tried the other one aswell, it didnt work

I have tried trouble shooting but it didnt work, i realy need help so im giving away all my creds for help

 

Did you go into options and advanced an change it there?

 

yes thats were i changed it for my hand view but it never worked but the thing is i can hear all the music and if i move my mouse i can hear the option buttons it just says cannot display this footage , any ideas

huh ?? for left handed ? Software ? wtf just press H in game en then go to help en then you can click right handed ?

 

to make it alot easyier when u were playing u should have just pushed the H key and that would have given u some options and there should be one that says gun hand click that and then change it to ur right hand what guy told u to do something with ur softwear that guy should be shot. LoL!

Try updating your graphics card driver, then if that dosent work go into the Steam My Games tab, right click Counter-Strike, hit properties and then delete local game content. It will then re-install CS and you should be good.

 

ugh... goto your models directory and remove the r from the files with them and rename the old files to l at the start.

 

You haven't replaced any models have you? Custom models?

 

i havent done anything to the models section the thing is i CANT SEE THE GAME!!!! SO I CANT CHANGE ANY OPTIONS so i dont know what to do.. no ones ideas helped here

 

Just re-install...That usually works

 

AHHA I HAD THE ASME PROBLEM AND I FOUIND THE PROBLEM ... go in console and type cl_righthand 1 and ur goods man creds please?!?!haha

 

thats like the same result as when u press H in game .... ->help -> right handed

and i bet he doesn't know what console is so console is when your at the screen with the 2 cs guy where it says new game; options; server etc... and there you press on the 32 key thats beneath the escape button and then a window will pop-up adn thats console

 

nope not the same result.. that command overwrites the current position, the help just reads it, and when its read, it says it already right handed even though it appears left handed, you can also reach the console by pressing the ~~~~~~~~ button

 

sorry no creds for you.. I CANT SEE THE GAME!!!!!! can you read? the game is on but i CANT see it no creds for you its not the right handed problem anymore
