It happens all the time, but it's just different artists learning different techniques, nothing wrong with that.
By learning new styles, you hopefully use bits and pieces of the techniques learned, and incorporate it with other styles.

I can understand why you feel that way though, especially if the artists copies a style, and sells it as their own, but a discussion of this such can go on for ages.

Yea, I don't exactly think it's a good idea to copy something so well.

    1. It's unoriginal, and the whole point of making the art would be to sell
    2. It gets you accused of ripping alot.

Never mind, this can stay open. Tiller, find other examples and add them in instead of singling out O M G.

Yes I make tags that I like then use techniques that I learn along the way to use in other tags. Please don't flame me and never call me " trailer trash " again.

If I was trailer trash what would it matter to you in the first place. Have you ever thought that the things you say could hurt someone personally?

My dad could have died and I could be supporting my mom as a drop out highschool student working at 2 jobs trying to pay for our house etc.

Think abotu what you say next time, because what you say and you have no knowledge on, shows your true personality.

If you guys would like to continue this little spat here, I'd be more than willing to give you both an extended Thanksgiving break.

O M G, stop trying to play the innocent one. I know for a fact you have a tendency to be extremely rude over MSN, so I know you probably provoked Tiller there. I've received complaints before from people about it, not to mention that thread that was posted last night.

To be honest, their is only so much you can do on Ps - and you may only be copying one shape from a sig, but yo are copying it - you saw it somewhere. 99% of sigs are no where near completely original.

Layer Ripping, however, is not cool.

Copying from tut is common and that is what tuts are for anyway
Making an identical tag for learning purposes is ok.

But copying a tut wholesale and making an identical tag for sale is another thing.
At least state in the sale thread that a tut or PSD is used to make the tag

That way, people buying the tag will know and won’t feel cheated for buying something that is not original.

    My 2 cents

    He's banned now anyways.

    Not for that reason.

    But closed anyways.
