I just ordered this heatsink+fan for my X2 4400+ http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?...N82E16835185125 is this an ok heatsink?
well my stock heatsink on my 3700+ doesn't do the job well, 70c and going, yep it's bad so I really need a better one
I was checking my current stock heatsink and I just found out that the heatsink I bought isnt compatible with my motherboard since it has no spot to use the clip thing... my heatsink has four screws in each corner... isn't there thing that I could buy to make the one I bought fit?
one of the best air coolers: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16835185038 Also take a look at what Zalman has to offer.
I already bought one, it's on the first post but thanks, I think I might to return it if it doesn't fit on my motherboard and order the one you posted
Isn't there some sort of clip, which can make it compatible? What socket do you have? I guess AM2, for that, if you really want to spend money on High End Cooling: Tuniq tower 120, great cooling beast. For normal usage/overclock the Arctic Freezer 6 will do. I've got the Arctic Freezer 7PRO, which is for socket 775 and it's doing great. I saw the AF6 is compatible with both 754/939 and AM2 ? That should work?
it's OK, better than the stock heatpipe cooler included w/ the athlon x2s, and certainely ebtter than the stock HSF included w/ the single core athlons. sythe mine for 5$ more...
