Well my computer takes a while to start up, like 3 minutes before I can open firefox or anything. Is there anyway to make it load faster, like is there anyway I can make it only have it start up what it needs then open the other things myself. I have Intel Core 2 CPU 6400 @ 2.13GHz 1.60, 2.00GB of RAM Could it be because I have like... 17 games installed? Any help I would be greatful
Theres a program called Tuneup utilities 2006/2007 that you can buy quiet cheap, It has a start up manager and will get rid of any programs that dont need to be started up on startup. I bought the 2006 version last year and its propperly the best app ive ever bought, Comes with registry cleaner and all sorts. Should check it out
yes, click start > run > type msconfig and hit ok. then go to startup and check off nething that u dont want to run when ur computer starts. i found this helps me alot because i had a lot of useless programs opening that i rarely used. just make sure u check off stuff that u know what it is, dont check nething that u dont know what it does. here are some of the things that i dont have start up
There is prberbly a crap load of files trying to start when you boot. Some programs (like msn) you can disable it from running at start uo to speed things up,.
