Computer Restarting At Startup

    My computer has been restarting by itself at startup. It happens when it reaches the Windows XP loading screen. It gives me the option previously to Start Windows Normally or Start With The Most Recent Working Settings or something along those lines. I've tried booting into Safe Mode too, but it still restarts.

    I'm obviously using a different computer to post this. Any help with this would be great, thanks.

    have a XP disc? do a repair install..

    Usually only happened to me when my hard drive was almost getting full

    reformat, happened to my pc several times, the repair just ------s it up really bad to a point where you cant even get in safe mode

    that happened to me on xp from my keyboard so i disconnected it and it was working fine it didnt restart
