i've been having a few problems with my computer for the past couple of days:

-first of all, my printer will not print web pages off of the internet. its okay with anything else

-second, my microsoft word is not working right. every time i try to open up a saved document, it says that its being used by another user. also when i openup the program, its says that word cannot open the existing " square.
(the actual shape, not the word)

-third, i cannot download any programs from the internet. when i try, it says "error writing temporary file. make sure your temp fold is valid."
i'm not sure what its talking about.

-fourth, when i try to open a program in acrobat reader it says "the directory or file cannot be created"

-finally, i cannot view video files off of the internet for some reason.

i'm working off of an old system (my OS is Win98), but everything was okay a couple of days ago. i'm not sure what i did to the computer

i would really appriciate some help

It sounds like you have insufficient rights. Are you logged on to the administrator account?

Keep in mind, Windows 98 is extremely old and full of glitches. :P
