I got my computer back in September, and up to a week ago it was working flawlessly. Out of nowhere, my computer started to freeze up randomly and soon enough it progressed to just shutting off. At first it seemed like most of the issues happened when I would be in/opening Firefox but now it's starting to just happen randomly. I really don't think it's a virus since I've been scanning and nothing shows up, so I'm guessing it has something to do with my PSU or wiring. Anyone have tips/ideas on what to do so I can figure it out for sure and maybe fix it myself instead of having to pay someone?

Done and done already. I ran virus, registry, spyware, etc. scans and defragged last night. And I really do not want to reformat unless completely necessary, and if you ask me this doesn't warrant a reformat.
