Computer Help Please?

    I just dled a movie editing program, cause I am interested in tryng that out, but after restart, my menu at the bottom wont come up. Does anyone know how to get that back up?

    Sure it's not set on auto hide?
    Go into task manager (ctrl+alt+delete) and go to File - New Process and put in explorer.exe
    Also make sure that if you have more than one graphics card the one you're not using is disabled and your primary one is enabled.

    Couldn't find explorer.exe? Well, that's a problem.

    could it deal with this:

    I had this virus, and everytime I would open something up, a notifier would pop up. I pressed delete, and it said it would at Reeboot. Now that thing doesnt pop up. Does that mean I deleted it along with the infected virus?

    How would i do this to "Explorer.exe"?

    also the solution is called don't install random ----, and also try the fooling
    reinstall(use XPs system backup shid)
    repair(repair install of windows)
    reformat(wipe the harddrive start over..)

    explorer.exe is a bit more of a file than you think...

    man...

    it's like the base file for the entire GUI...

    it's not vital to system operation but still...

    If you read what xelink had stated you would know thats its more than just 1 file. In my opinion i would say to reformat it or try repairing it with the windows cd.
