Okay, here is the problem. Whenever I load up a program, it takes a few minutes and while running, it randomly crashes and stops responding.

    I have tried:
    -Uninstalling some programs
    -Defragmenting my computer
    -Resetting video card
    -Disk clearnup
    -Scanning viruses

    And I am going to:
    -Scan for Adware
    -Scan for Spyware

And as a last resort, I will reformat my computer.

    Specs:
    1.6 GHZ Processor
    100 FSB
    512 Mb RAM
    200 Gig HD
    Windows XP Home
ATI All In Wonder Radeon 7500

That is pretty much it, and don't laugh at my specs, my other one owns.

try to do a disk clean-up and a disk defrag

    disk clean up:

    start > All programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Clean-up

    Disk De-fragmenter:

start > All programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Defragmenter

Um yeah, if you didn't notice bmchugh, I already did that.

I just ran adaware and it found 90+ infected files. 60+ of which came from my sister.
