    quad core? I'd love that...

and yea, I OC'd my system by just 10% and the heat didnt change much if at all, so I'm thinking another ten still on stock cooling wont do too much. Still unsure if I should tho if its safe or not since i never did it before :P

no such thing as a dual core vid card.there are dual GPU GFX cards though, cheapest one is 800$

again you can't get much of a gaming system for 700$ what you can get is a fairly good overall use system which can play most games at acceptable settings while having good future scaleability.

only dual GPU card on the market

essentially two 7800GTs in SLi with a small performance hit.

here is what i would get if I were you:

Opteron 165, on par witht he x2 3800+ for gaming and can be OCed a lot, commonly OCable to beyond FX 60 speeds with good cooling and ram

1gig ram (get btter stuff if you plan on an extensive OC, should be fine to get you to DDR420-440)

    Diablos recomendation:
    6800

    mid range motherboard

SLi FYI and Crossfire are synonymous to marketting bull----, the 7800GT outperforms two 6600GTs in SLI and costs less while using less energy.

then toss in a cheap case and a PSU and you're set..

every game at good settings and great scaleability. OC to FX 60 ranges if you buy better ram(in the future) and a good PSU.

it's better if you plan on using crossfire, but not SLi as it is not SLi capable.

didnt you say $700? you cant be buying $330 processor and $100 motherboards and $60 and like $130 on a gfx card, that alone is totaling $627. just keep in mind if you buying a whole new computer that'll you'll want a good hard drive and CD\DVD R-RW which will cost around like $40, leaving you give-or-take $40 for a hard drive. might wanna cut back on something?

Uhhh Yea I agree with .DeFuZioN, People are posting in this thread to HELP YOU. So show some restraint and at least be a little thankful for everyones help...

P.S I would choose a different Mobo, I wouldnt go with that one unless I needed most of the Extra Features and such...Plus you may Need SLi Support in the Future.
