    yah do a cleanup and defragment, then you should try to get more RAM, it'll really help especialy running programs like PS.

    dont install norton, it will slow your pc down more, get the following programs -

    Avast
    Zone Alarm Free
    Ad-aware
    Spybot Search and Destroy.
