Communism: Evil Or Misunderstood?

    Hehe I just studied this in history...basically, communism looks great on paper; everyone is equal, no filthy rich people, no poor people, no leaders, no followers etc. But, it has major problems in practise. Nothing can function without some kind of leadership, and so to make everyone equal the 'state' takes control of everything...which basically ends up with a dictatorship. Also, if everyone is equal, then everyone gets paid the same regardless of how much work they do. So, what is the insentive to work hard? There isn't one, so the workrate drops hugely, plunging the country into poverty, which in turn impoeverises practically everyone in the counctry (since they are all equal). This leads to an increas in drunkenness, murders, suicides and crime.

    So, Communicm looks great on paper, but can never work in reality ^_^

    I voted that it sounds better on paper. Communism doesnt seem that bad, it's just kind the people that did it did it like..bad...

    I feel that it was a semi-plausible idea on paper, but in reality, it would fail.. as you can see
