    Theres a college in San Francisco dedicated purely to art. I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for, but im including a link and your welcome to check it out. I had a friend that was attending courses there and was hired on by companys like Sony Online Entertainment to partake in graphic design for some of their top video games out on the market today.     I"m probably going to be looking for the same thing, I can't remember the name, and I didn't read to see if anyone stated it but theres a college dedicated to this alone and it has commericals on the GR channel *shrug* when I find the name i'll get it for you.

    Well, according to US News, some of the best schools for Graphic Design and Digital Arts are...well, its too hard to tell, but US News has a search by major, and under 'visual arts' and then 'design and applied arts' is graphic design.

    there are several of those, one in costa mesa orange county, san francisco, and one in chicago and I am sure there are many "insitutes of the arts" like this series of colleges, they aren't exactly hard to get into. Software engineering is similar in nature to digital artwork but somewhat less shaky(my uncle is one) keep in mind though, any company could pay someone in english speaking India 4$ an hour to do the same or better job.
