Text is a bit weird but it's still readable, so guess it doesn't matter : \

200 px white soft brush put it close to her left side but not on her. Lower the opcity to what ever u like to make it look good. Or even try a lens flare. Just experiment and u will learn :D

Um lol i cant tell with anime anymore they make them look to simliar :P. Try to add some brush effects . Use your smudge brush but scatter them out and lower the opcity. Maybe idk but if your render has lighting on the left side of it's face you gotta add the lighting there for it to make sense :P. Just work with it . It has the potientla to be good.

The effect on his arm won't look good as a lightsource unless you work magic to the shadowing and highlighting to reflect that lightsource on his arm.

For lighting there's more to it than just brushing in a lightsource, you have to use burning/highlighting, and Lighting Effects under the Filter>Render menu helps as well if you know how to use it.

don't really like how the effects on his arm stick out and dont really go with the ones on the bottom, feels like its taking the focus away from the focal
