try making the text black then, maybe set it to overlay or somthing.

Look I tried another one, the render doesn't blend very well for some reason

 

here is something i made, took me about 3 hours or so...i used my own brushes for it except for the first brush in the pack that peg gave us...i used the tutorial for the render and motion blur background...

Should make a new layer and use the vertical column bar and make a line on the new layer on both sides of the bottom text and move the other text to the left to center it up, then delete the layer with the temporary lines on it ^_^



This tut rocks, I may post my results later, after I take the time to slowly do this.
