Cpanel gives you a lot more features.

For example, it has 3 click installs for many scripts (including a couple popular forums), allows you to access your sql database and modify it yourself, and has many other small features that come in handy.

Maybe b0b could put up a screenshot of the cpanel so you can see what it looks like and some of the options. :)

Is Cpanel useful if you just bought the space for storage?

I would say no, but thats just me. I would buy an option 2, instead of getting 1 w/ cpanel anyday. FTP is good enough for storage.

Yea, you can, but in order to use phpmyadmin you need to install it, pay me to install it, or use cpanel. If you don't care about phpmyadmin, then you're fine. :)

Oy… that’s just not true, and I’m sorry you feel this way.

I just spent a good half hour with him on MSN, trying to work out what he was doing wrong. Let me say it plainly, there’s nothing wrong with the info. I’ll admit, there was a tiny mix up with the username (it had an extra sufix, which I explained to him, and he dropped off), but the connection error was only his… the info was fine.

I offered a couple of options in helping him resolve it, asking him to send me a screen shot, or try a reboot. He refused claiming it was "b0b's fault" it wasn't working. I used the login information myself, and it worked just fine, so the only problem was on his end.

I spent my free (note the word free, b0b doesn't pay me, and I didn't ask for credits from seductive) time to try to help this guy, and rather than continuing to work with me to figure out what he was doing wrong, he told me that the "info is all wrong" and that "ur not helping at all," then proceeded to block me or sign off of MSN.

I’m not trying to get anyone upset with him, nor am I working a flame here… I'm simply noting my frustration. I tried very hard to help this guy with my own free time, and he ends it with telling me I didn't do anything for him and that b0b is the one that screwed up (he wasn't).

B0b is a good guy, his services work. He clearly spells out what you receive. If you don’t understand ftp, that’s fine… if you’re willing to learn, me and b0b are both willing to help explain. But understand that websites are not magic, they do require some work. :)

As a side note, please understand, guys, that b0b doesn't pay me, and I would appreciate if you keep that in mind when your looking for help from me. When I'm resolving issues, I'm doing it for free, on my own time, so please don’t get upset with me, or start ‘yelling’ at me for problems.

    Thanks for understanding,
    OldWolf. :)
