Could anyone help me out with making a transparent background on cinema 4D. Im able to make great stuff but when I save it and open it in photoshop the background always seems to be black any ideas??? thx...
Just use the magic eraser to get rid of the black, but maybe a pain in the ass getting some parts of the render
no don't do that, i know not to do that because i get jagged lines on the render, there is a way to do it but im not sure
all you gotta do is go to the save option... go to output.. make sure the alpha box is checked.. then change tiff to targa.. then press ok.. then go to image viewer.. save it as targa.. then open it on photoshop
eh... not really... 1. after finishing ur render in C4D click on the render settings 2. go to output and make it any size or whatever u want 3. then go to save and click on the alpha channel box and then click okay 4. now click on render preview and wait till the render finishes loading 5. now click on save and save it wherever 6. now open photoshop and open ur render 7. now look at the channels u will see a channel on the bottom that says alpha 8. ctrl+c on the alpha layer and viola everything should be selected
k thx, taught it wouldnt select everything after that but aparantly it did thanks allot for youre help guys. apreciate it
yea that should do it, save as a targa, open in ps go to channels there should be like 5 of em, click the last one, and done.
