    why do you need a floopy for your mobo. Just get which ever case you want. A Dvd burner works for everything, not just burning.

    Ok thanks.
    But that DVD burner isnt avaliable ATM...I need one for this christmas O.O...maybe a bit sooner..

    One kid says he needs a floppy for the mobo's bios

    Btw, I havea normal DVD burner and cd/dvd rom drive on my other comptuer so I wasnt sure if it would work or not..sorry for newbie question :P

    all DVD roms/burners can read Cd's....

    yeah to flash it. But you wont want to flash it unless it doesnt pick up the second core, chances are it will. Anyways just save your money no need to buy, you can always flash from windows.

    then I guess whichever other DVD drive I found...there seems to be no difference except brand name, which I'd go with BenQ

    Floppy drives are like $14... if you ever do need one, saving up should not take very long at all.

    You can get them for 7-21^ but I was just gonna be safe rather than sorry :D
    Defuzuinz, what did you mean "to flash it"? Whats that mean,..

    you are missing the Power Supply. Also you have demonstrated there is no point in buying a floppy as the only reason you would need to have one for your mobo is to flash it which means update the bios.

    yes get that, I recommended it like 4 pages back.
    If you use the one in your case your risk you whole system as psus that come with anything other than antecs, thermaltakes and coolermasters are poor. Even ones with thermaltakes and coolermasters are poor but you arent risking your pc with them, they just perform less and wont blow up.
