there is no point in 64 bit windows until vista as it provides no increased performance or program support yet, if anything it reduces both of them.

the thing about win 64 pro is that it offers future expandability. almost nothing worked with win XP when it first came out, but now everything does. Win XP 64 is even less vulnerable to that it already has good driver support from ATi and Nvidia so really I see no reason not to, you might suffer a fraction of a percent performance diference at the moment, but when software gets optimized you will notice a small gain and again, you will have software support for a longer time because most old software works with it while all the new software should work with it. TO behonest though, if you are moderately patient, you shoudl wait 6 months for vista and morom and AMDs 65nm procs, I am.

no point in purchasing m2 socket until early 2007 and march for vista. Give them 6 months to sort out bugs especially with windows. Also I know my pc is not having vista on it. I dont want that DRM crap on it. I know its currently in Media Player 9 and 10 but I dont want full DRM with vista. All mobos have DRM built in they have chip on them but its not active yet but it will be active on vista.

Digital Rights Management. Means you cant have illegal stuff.

Also The dual cores didnt have issues because they werent new sockets I was suprised they didnt though because they were a new type of processor same socket and process though.
But 939 had issues when it first came out. Winnies had lots of incompatability issues.

Morom is the new intel cpu, they dropped the name pentium. 65nm means it requires less power thus producing less heat.

The new M2s will be 90nm but they will be migrated to 65nm when its release late next year, early 08.
DRM will not just effect media player. BUT EVERYTHING!

just get whichever case you would like. However if you want quiet/silent neither of those cases would provide an you would have to look at antec, thermaltake or coolermaster.

also get the benq DW-1640. No need for a floppy.
