well duh, maybe he was telling the truth about being drunk by the way, I have no idea what court is all about; would being drunk help or worsen his case???
they should like REALLY torture him and take like an inch off of him every week. Inches off his fingers till he has no more, then his toes. Have medical teams keep him alive with no anesthesia or anything. Once done with his fingers and toes, move up his arms and legs. Get rid of his ears... etc.
