I have a few questions I don't understand, could anyone help:

    1) Sugar is more soluble in water than salt. Why does a salt solution conduct electricity, while a sugar solution does not?

    2) Dissolving a certain solute in water releases heat. Dissolving a different solute in water absorbs heat. Explain why.

    3) Would you expect to find more mineral deposit near a thermal spring or near cool mountain spring? Explain.

    Here are what I think:

    1) Is it because salt solution is basic/ionic compound therefore conductible whereas Sugar solution contains carbon molecules or something like that?

    2) They solutes have different boiling/melting points?

    3) Thermal Spring because the minerals are heated and they break apart from the rocks or whatever?

Turn it in like that and tell us how you do.

Because you shouldn't be receiving help from online.
