Cheap But Reliable Processor With Motherboard

    I'm looking to buy my brother an Intel i7 with a mobo for a reasonable price and preferably cheap.. But it should be something good..

    Any other suggestions are welcomed.

    Budget: 330$/202£

    at that price range not gonna happen. Most x58 boards are in the $200+ range and the i7 920 lowest price in the US is $199 but most places sell it for $250-300. You would be better off buying an i5 cpu and a P55 board

    Is i5 better than C2Quad? Also, will that be an awesome choice?

    Tell me MORE about AMD, the thing is that AMD requires a lot of cooling material whilst intel runs just fine!.. I don't even know anything about AMD.

    i5 is a notch above C2Q line. It's Intel's mainstream cpu which will replace C2D/Q cpu's. AMD's are fine cpu's and I dont know who told you that they need alot of cooling material but thats not true. It requires nothing special done compared to Intel.
