writting some good Rap Lyrics is prolly one of the hardest things in the world to do it. To say that rap takes no talet its prolly one of the simple mindedest things I have ever heard. If you are a true fan of music than when you listen to a good rap song you would apperciate it wether you are a die hard rock fan or what. You are just one of those people who can only listen to one kind of music and you dress the part and act the part by hating on everything else.

1 pure simple reason , music isnt just about lyrics. Rap artists depend on lyrical talent while honestly they have no musical talent at all. Take for example any metal/rock band, they take years to practice their guitars and drums and they write and compose their own music. You see where iam going?

Any artist can takes years to perfect their music, it's no different with rap, you can't throw lyrics on a page and think it will be accepted, it take practice and focus. Also, all rap music isn't all "computerized," their are real instruments in there aswell, instruments that took just as long to master. Rap like Rock, is a very diverse form of music with many different forms, so to generalize it and try to degrade what it stands for is a very narrowed minded way of thinking from my point of view...

I've never seen a rapper holding a guitar before. But anyway Iam very sure that you, like me dont like all kinds of music. I was expressing my personal opinion on a genre of music that I dont like, and you turned it into racism....I think that is narrow minded. And I dont have anything against African Americans, Because I dont like rap and hiphop doesnt mean that Iam racist.
i agree with Iron Bonney on 1 note. that it takes practice and bands have to bust there ass's off even to make it.i dislike rap. im not insluting the african american culture. im insulting the commercial rap. the underground rap is usually the heart stopping insane material. commercial rap is the same s--t. girls,sex,guns,violence,"pimping",money,rims,cars,death,insulting there competition. i can name so many wicked bands that are F--king amazing, but didnt sell out to commercialism and be on mtv. another thing i dont like is how they picture the "hood", when in reality, theres mass poverty. teens having unpretected sex, sexualy transmitted diseases, kids can get easy acess to liquor, drugs. just think, imagine your kids looking up to these people. that is all. you can flame me, i dont care but in the back of your mind you know i speak the truth.
You don't need a guitar to prove that you practiced and studied a music form. And you are right, i don't like all forms of music,(i hate metal) but i still have enough respect to honor what they do, regardless. I never said that a dislike for Rap makes you a racist, thats perfectly fine, your entitled to your opinion. But, to try to insult Hip-hop, which isnot a music form but a Life Style is extremely offensive to me.
