How do I get songs from my computer, then onto a CD so I can play them on a non-mp3 compatible CD player? Is there a way? Is it possible? I can get the songs onto a CD-RW but when I put mp3s on it, obviously the CD player obviously doesn't recognise it. I tried making the songs .cda because I saw that files on music CDs use that extension but that doesn't work. Is this possible?
It wont work like that CD player recognises CD AUdio format - If u got a recent hifi ot cd player u can play MP3 Either... 1. Get a In car kit Cd adapter - will work on hifis because i connect my CD mp3 player to my Hifi Its a lead that has a tape cassette attached to it 2. The more expensive way - Get a Mp3 CD player To copy MP3 to CD just - Drag and drop into CD Drive in Windows XP Or just use Nero to burn a MP3 disc both will work but you need a MP3-compatible player - Look at 1 & 2 I hope it helps
Apparently you burned your mp3s to your CD-RW using the wrong method, if you have Nero, go to Nero express, click on Music - Audio CD and select your tracks and burn away! You have to burn as AUDIO CD FORMAT, this format is recognized by all CD players.
However a normal CD can take up only 80mins so about 20 tracks worth depending on song length With MP3 it takes the size of the disk 700MB where u can store hundreds Just get a CD adapter It will work
I just use MusicMatch. Burns just fine. I play them in my truck all the time. It converts the mp3 to cd audio for you. Just another option.
I open Nero Burning Rom and the wizard comes up and I select CD, new compilation, Audio CD...but it says it's not recommended to use CD-RWs because lots of CD players won't recognise it. So I put my tracks on, burn it and it doesn't work. Azn, isn't that what you said to do?
O right i get ya If you already got a MP3 compatible CD player then burn it on CDR but then again the statement that you said that CDRW dont work on HIFI is correct but works in CD players You can burn either way You dont have to use Nero - You can use WinXP drag and drop as well works the same in CD players
Ok, I'll start again. Ok, so I DON'T have an MP3 compatible CD player ok? And I have a few CD-RWs. So, is there ANYWAY AT ALL that I can burn .mp3s from my computer to my CD-RW and have it work on a non MP3 compatible CD player? Yes or no.
I do not think standard Cd players can read off a Cd-RW. I used to be in the emulator world, not a part of it anymore, but you could copy a PS1 game, and you had to use a Cd-r, not a CD-rw... just buy a 25-pack of cd-r's, theyre not that expensive..
