well, here in America, this hasnt been all that big of a deal because of "free speach"

(im atheist) i think that every person should have their own boudaries and this cartoon just went over them imo...he's portraying what many dumbass people now think of the whole islam religion..

No one said you agreed. You took it upon yourself to think someone did. If the danish guy should get punished, then each person who burns an American flag, or any countries flag and steps all over should be punished. Ever think of that?

Religon making Cartoons would be good? Teaching children about Religon, but with nice characters.

    Sorted.

hi to everyone Im new here and first time i have a chance to post

    -----

My input I hope noone gets offended

the problem is any sort of drawing of the prophet is a sin, now the danish newspaper published these cartoons well aware of the reaction they would set off which has made things alot worse, Simple boycotts are fine but some people do over react, Tensions are already bad and the cartoons havent helped alot , the picutre of jesus has been abused so many times it doesnt get that offensive anymore but this is one of the first times this has happend. Also more newspapers across europe posting this isint helping. Insulting a culture Is not ( IMO ) a good thing to do.

    Heres a quote

My freedon stops when someones nose begins or something like that. FOS we have we should not abused

    ----------
just a note danish products make I think about 150 million each year in the middle east currently they are selling ZERO items .

    :)
    peace yall!

The Cartoon: The Prophet Muhammad was shown wearing a turban in the shape of a bomb. The cartoon was presumably intended as a comment on extremists who sanction murder in the name of religion.

I think publishing the cartoons was wrong, but the reaction is also wrong.

    Death threats
    Street demonstrations
    Attempted bombing
    Burning of Danish flags
Extremists looking for foreigners to kidnap
Muslim cleric declaring the cartoonists should be decapitated.

And on the flip-side, Muslim newspapers in the Middle East routinely print vile anti-Semitic drawings.

Jews are depicted as Nazis, blood-drinking butchers and satanic-looking figures with hooked noses, horns and tails.

    Sigghhhhh. Fighting sucks.

hm..referring muslims as terrorist - WRONG

The Holy Quran Forbids Suicide bombing - They just take the name of Islam to do their deeds - I can get a quote for you but probably hardly anyone would believe it

These so called 'Muslim Terrorist' are muslims but will get punishedbecause suicide is forbidden

"Suicide is forbidden. "O ye who believe!... [do not] kill yourselves, for truly Allah has been to you Most Merciful. If any do that in rancour and injustice, soon shall We cast him into the Fire..." (Qur'an 4:29-30)."

Ok this getting far and is quite a flaming topic so ..did say before its gona get closed but g.mods away -lolz
