Have any of you seen the pictures? They are pretty disrespectful...one picture was of a peice of toilet paper that looked like the quraan (islamic holy book). Another depicted Prophet Muhammed as being a terrorist...Thats just not funny. Sure there are pictures of Jesus and all that, but I have never see OFFENSIVE pictures of Jesus before, and thats why this is such a big deal.

Think of it like this way, imagine someone drew a picture of the pope in a bondage outfit...I would bet you millions of people would be offended by that.

Ok I know freedom of speech is given recently hearing this from TV

BUT...

Involving religion is just absurd. - Basically Muslims dont keep images or pictures of Allah[Swt] or any Prophet[PBUH] ones anywhere - Its like a respectable thing.

Christians do have statues/images of Jesus/Mary etc but thats their own religion and to date I havent seen Christians mockery before - Even if there is then I think Media should get shot

As said - If Jesus was there instead of Mohammed [PBUH] but say in a different action that could offend Christians then im sure there would be protests about this

In Islam - Jesus is represented as a Prophet in the Holy Quran so making fun of religious people .is just pure stupid and mindless minds of Journalism & all this media stuff is pile of crap

They exploit so many mindless things its unimaginable and rather disturbing.

All i gota say making cartoons of Prophets is wrong and the media responsible should apologise and not the Prime minister of Denmark - Because if they dont then look on TV of whats happening

Southpark is a TV show that has a Mature rating for a reason... If you're offended by such stuff, don't watch it.

However, I do have an argument about what's taboo about religion and the reaction these people are having... but it's a long post and I get off in 10 minutes.
