I was having one of the most hectic weeks ever - with all these literature reviews, papers, and projects due. I don't have school on Fridays, so I was excited when my last class got out early... I walked over to my car and I saw this....

    :( :( :( :( :(

My glove compartment was locked, but was broken into - and I had some CD's stolen, a couple bucks that was in the glove box, the change in the little car ash tray, and a few other things. I'm more amazed that they broke into my car just to steal like $20 worth of stuff total. Erg.

    Damn that's weak.

Happened to me about 2 years ago. Came home from a party with some buddies at about 3:30am and my dad woke us up at 7:00am to tell me my car was broken into. They stole a ---- load of CD's, a leather jacket, my oakleys, my cellphone (was a long night don't ask why I left it there), my sub, my amp, my deck, my lights from the roof of the inside of my car (weird?), and then they took my ----ing school bag. Never thought i'd get to use the excuse of "my homework was stolen" for the teacher. Was such a pain in the ass but in the end through insurance I got better updated stereo equipment and an alarm. Been great in the long run! :)

    The insurance....

I have to pay a $500 deductible so they can get my window fixed. $500 I won't be getting back :( All so the guy that broke my window can get $20 worth of stuff. *sigh*

@ rzn: Dang, that sucks!! People that do this kinda stuff drive me nuts <_< I bet you were wayyyy more pissed off than I was! Especially if it was right outside your house~ I'm also missing one of my books, which is really weird because it was just my small APA manual book...

@ uber: Yeah, I'm glad I didn't leave my credit cards in there or anything - the more I'd be pissed! Oh man. But I'll be out a few hundred dollars for the insurance company ^^^ up there

@ Ice: But I wonder what that guy would do with all my stuff... girl's deodorant, girl's ...under....garments... (lol), my gym shorts, eek. I don't think he'll get much for it - he still has 2 wash em - LOL!!!
