I am wondering about how car sound sytems work...what I mean is... For example you have 200 watt cd player 800 watt amp does that mean you can have one 1000 watt subwoofer can you have a larger woofer? any explanation or link to explanation would be appreciated.
i would use....... I run: 200 watt cd player 2 - 1000 watt amps 4 12 in'' subwoofers that hold 600 watts each
lmao thats what i was thinking.. my brother only has 2 12"s right now and those pound the ---- out of his car
I vote you don't do ---- to your car To loud = annoying = head ache = ME GET MAD. People that have huge sound systems are stupid... whats the point? To make people have headaches? I hate it
whaat? i'd LOVE to have a system in my car and just let the music pound.. it doesnt give me a headache, i enjoy it
anyone wanna gimme an explanations is it watt for watt or what 200 watt cd player + 800 watt amp = 1000 watt capacity woofer? or can it be larger
NO! the 200w cd player is split 4 ways for your speakers. Some of them have a sub output, but not many. You will have 800W total for your subwoofer (which is a ton, unless its peak wattage, and a cheap subwoofer). I have a 350W RMS Alpine amp running two 12" subs.
what kind of amp and what kind of subs you still get good bumpage with only 350 watts damn p.s. i have to poo brb
dude, you need an amplifier to get any kind of "bump" or a high level of volume! your stereo itself won't cut it
