OK, I'm trying to get a screenshot from a dvd I have (perfectly legal, US region code DVD)

The program I mainly use for doing this in windows media player, but it gives me some stupid digital rights error when I try to play it (as opposed to the fact I can play the dvd on other media players on my computer).

So does anyone know of a different program that an take a simple, high quality screenshot from the DVD?

Just take a ScreenShot (PrintScreen Button)[right on backspace]

Then bring up paint or something and hit ctrl+v.
Crop out what ya dont need.

wmp will not ever let you take a screenshot of it, for the digital rights thing u mentioned before. You either need to get an external capturing method, or copy the video to your pc, open it in wmm and cap it from there. Those are your only options.

Google for SnagIt. Its should be from techsmith.
    heres a link.
    POKE
Works fine for me, and you can set a global hotkey to capture the screen i.e( alt-2 ) or what ever. I like it and its VERY functional.

Using a different media play, I did a print screen with a capture program and got it. Thanks :)

But this still doesnt solve the ridiculous WMP error that stops me from playing the DVD in WMP

    this is what i get

AS i said before, CD is 100% legal. I cant figure out whats going on, and we've been able to play other DVDs...
