Plz help thanks.
Well, first off, did you buy PS or did you download it? Try uninstalling it and re-installing it. Or call adobe's tech support for help. Edit: do you have administrator rights on your account?
i bought a copyed version of CS2 from some1 so i cant really uninstall it and install it again (i couldnt install it in the first place). i dont know what administrator rights are lol, im a real noob when it comes to computers  some1 else told me something simular happened to them but it was totally different software but they told me they searched the disk and found a special installer they installed and used that to install their software and it worked. i found one thing..adobe common files installer.. i installed it but nuthing different happened.
Well first things first. You will not be able to use the software because it is pirated. There are ways around this but forbidden to be mentioned here. Best thing is to get gimpshop for windows. Similar to Photoshop but its free. Either that or get the trial version of CS2 from Adobe's website. AS for admin rights, go to start>control panel>user accounts, and make sure next to your name it has administrator. If not try changing it to admin and see if it helps with your install. But becasue it is a burned copy, it also has to be activated, and if it is Illegal, you wont be able to activate it.
okay thanks, i also downloaded a trial but when i went to install it the same error appeared lol but its wierd because my friends bought copys of it too and theirs worked fine.
I would check the rights that you have. Or borrow one of your friends disks to try to see if yours may be messed up.
start>control panel>user accounts, you should see your name there, and it should say what rights you have under your name. If its not administrator, click your name and choose "change account type' and make yourself an admin. then try it again.
