On internet explorer or firefox? I have a shoutlife... it's like a christian myspace. I put a layout on there and it's out of wack but I can't take it off because the background image is covering the edit form. So now all I can do is delete my account and start over unless there's a way that I can turn images off so I can see the form.. or will the dynam,ics of the image still disalow me to edit it? unfortunately shoutlife doesn't have a safe edit form. Help is much appreciated.
Tools > Internet Options - Go to Advanced Tab and scoll down to "Multimedia" and uncheck [ ] Show Pictures Close Internet Explorer and re-open it and try your website. Hope that helps bro.
Easy If you can find the url of the image that you want blocked in FireFox then use this ... https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1865 Install that Addon... Then you will see something like this next to your google search bar in firefox now click the ABP icon and you should see something like this below... One way you can do is..: ---Mouse over the links / addresses and it will show you what the image looks like and then you can right click and block it or Second way to do this is..: ---See on the last column it shows the type...click the type and go to background and search for your images url.. then click that url and choose block this item.. Vola!! you are done the image has been blocked and if you ever want it back just go back to that page and click the ad block plus icon again and images/url's that you blocked will come up as red .. hence you can click on them and delete them from the blocked list so you can see them again Hope it helped! -N
