Well !! If you make it a over-all crew,i mean not just photography/photomanipulation I think you will get more response,thats wht i feel
idk because i wanted to start a crew that i actually had some skill in the topics haha. im not much of a tag maker ever since using brushes went out of style... <_<
I think having it specific to photography is great. That way only photographers will join, which, at the very least, is what I want
k guys we really need members. we just started a few days ago and things arent going as great as we thought haha. so if your into photography at all go apply. your allowed to be in our crew and graphics crew if your into both. so yea, APPLY! YOU HAVE NOTHING TO LOSE!!!!!!!!!
We don't laugh at your pictures either (unless we're supposed too, of course). Seriously, you don't need nice equipment or mad skillz to join. You only need a passion for photography and some pictures to show for it *cough* and some taco bell bucks for yours truly
Do you want non photoshoped entries in the applications or it doesn't matter? I have a terrible camera at the moment and Photoshop is really the only way I can get it up to par with what's out there. I'm not anywhere near good, but I lovvvvvvvve photography. I'm just poorly motivated because I have a poor camera. Heh. I'll be getting a Rebel XTi sometime in October though. =]
I would put in an application myself but because I haven't used Photoshop in a number of months so I don't have any manips or anything like that. Just photos off my camera
if you took the pictures just post them in our app section in crew haven. theres no problem with photoshopping a little bit, thats a standard thing in photography to enhance color and whatnot. so APPLY!
thats fine then just post 6 of your standard pics instead of 3 regular and 3 maniped. thats no problem bro.
FYI, with new stipulations being put into place, members will need to be willing/able to produce stock photos for a resource pack. They need not be amazing (quality in stocks never looks as amazing as other photos since they shouldn't be manipulated in any way except the bare basics), but they do need to be submitted on occasion. Not meaning to run any potential members away, but it's helpful if we have members who are active and willing enough to be doing this. I don't want the workload to be going to one or two of us instead of all of us. Stock photos can be taken with point-and-shoots. It's not required that you have an SLR to join . So you guys should join. Yup.
