for just getting your equipment in really impressed. YOUR ACCEPTED. congrats. please post the code from the original post in the thread into your signature and put Camera Drawn as your crew in the edits profile options btw photomanipulation can mean the hardcore manip, or simple post processeing(contrast, leveles etc.)
wow thanks so what now? since there is no discussion thread, post here? im thinking of getting another lens but idk which
Yes. Slight and I both submitted 6 of our best photographs in place of the 3 manips. So you can submit an application that way.
can i just say something....i dont think manips is the greatest word...its kinda a misnomer...there are some manips like with digital art and actually brushing and stuff...or there is the 'manip' of just adding contrast, adjusting color, etc...i like to call the latter 'post-processing' as do many other photographers... but yeah so if you dont do that, i suggest you do cause you can get much better photos just by adjusting their colors and contrast, etc. but yeah..i just dont like referring to it as manipulating..but whatever there are so many tutorials on the internet about photo editing/post processing..and i can help you guys get the programs you need..but i really do recommend it..its the step between novice and amateur i guess..and im willing to help out with stuff if needed
Okay thanks Name:Jon (my screename is sos but I used to be spartan on these forums) Why you want to join: I wanna be active in a photography kind of club I think it would be fun THREE of YOUR best pictures(direct links, NOT DA LINKS!): 1. http://img440.imageshack.us/img440/6513/wi...devastatge8.png 2. http://img440.imageshack.us/img440/631/lif...evastatioh5.jpg 3. http://img261.imageshack.us/img261/6208/sw...obydevasht6.jpg THREE pictures that you manipulated(preferably pics you took)(direct links, NOT DA LINKS)(please state whether you took the pic or not): 1. http://img515.imageshack.us/img515/5805/wi...tation67ns1.jpg 2. http://img515.imageshack.us/img515/6572/be...tation67cl5.jpg 3. http://fc06.deviantart.com/fs10/i/2006/119...vastation67.png Your photography equipment: Kodak Easyshare C330 Take care everyone!
i think those pictures are a very broad spectrum representing your skill as a photographer http://img515.imageshack.us/img515/5805/wi...tation67ns1.jpg <i dont like this at all...this one sucks compared to your other ones no offense..it is very low quality (i.e. cell phone pic) http://img515.imageshack.us/img515/6572/be...tation67cl5.jpg < I like this much more and i like 1 and 3 of your best pics but 2 only a little bit......so i guess your flower/nature pics could use work, but you other photos are good.... so I think its a yes if my vote matters at all
i say yes. lets see what the other members ay any then it will be determined. i agree with hotrocks' opinions of your work btw. pretty much the exact c&c
i say yes, i pretty much like 1 and 3 of the best pics, number 2 of the manip section. edit: i wish i had soem nice views liek that in NYC
what programs are good for that? other than Photoshop, where can i find tutorials on this.. i know i can Google up some or visit good0tutorials but yeh.. any specific place for photo editing/post processing?
well there photoshop cs/2/3 w.e, photoshop elements, photoshop lightroom, aperture for macs and then some more simple free ones like photoshop express online, picasa, gimp you can get a 30 day free trial of photoshop cs3..i recommend you do that as for tutorials....well they are much easier to find for photoshop, but most of the free programs have the basic tools that photoshop has, and most of the basics are just common sense/the what looks good method (for contrast/brightness/color/sharpening, etc.)
