Name: Justin Why you want to join: I really enjoy photography but I don't get out to take pictures that often. Hopefully being around others with a similar interest will teach me some new things and motivate me to take pictures more often. I'm also hoping this will help me get back into Photoshop after a pretty long lay-off. THREE of YOUR best pictures (direct links, NOT DA LINKS!): 1. http://img80.imageshack.us/img80/6051/hkba8.jpg 2. http://img69.imageshack.us/img69/4306/5thavenueqh3.jpg 3. http://img353.imageshack.us/img353/1861/dsc01608zl1.jpg 4. http://img353.imageshack.us/img353/5271/dsc01236xq0.jpg 5. http://img102.imageshack.us/img102/1082/dsc02583av2.jpg 6. http://img388.imageshack.us/img388/6799/dsc01314di0.jpg ** Posting 6 in place of 3 manips because I was told it was Ok for me to do so Your photography equipment: Canon PowerShot SD600 and Sony Cybershot DSC-P8 (older camera, not used too frequently now)
you have been ACCEPTED. i really like the first three. others are nice aswell though. yea man you should def take more pics, i bring my camera and lenses everywhere i go just in case i see something nice to shoot. please post the code in my first post into your sig area. also i believe since we have 5 members our name will be added to the list of crews in the EDIT PROFILE MENU so you can show what crew your in.
You've been to Hong Kong? That's awesome! And you have an awesome picture to show for it . I love the cab one, it's just perfect how that ended up. Probably should turn off the date/time watermarks though, they show up on half your photos. Woo! Five members! Excitingness!
Yea I've been to Hong Kong six or seven times. And yeah, I'll turn off the date/time thing (usually I can clone stamp it out of the pic if I have time) since most of the time it's not even right anyway
Your camera should have a separate file that will say what equipment you used, the settings, and the date/time taken... I'm not sure how to look at it, but whenever I upload to dA, as long as I never saved it as a separate psd, it always has that info. Besides, if you look hard enough, you can generally find where the clone stamp tool was used . Just better without it.
