yea i still bought the kodak.
i compared the prices, and the canon was like 130 more then the kodak.
Though its probably better, i'd have to watch my budget to.

i spoken with some people about both the camera's.
most of the negative points of the kodak dont bother me much.
and it seems the kodak is pretty sturdy, someone let it drop, and in anger of himself kicked the poor kodak camera to. Closer inspection revealed that it still worked, even after the kick, ofcourse that wouldn't be with all the camera's but it seems the kodak and the canon were about just as sturdy.
Though i've never really broken something.

some of those people also gave me some samples, and i have looked up some samples on the internet, the kodak has a little bit (note a very little bit) more of a problem with dark spots on the corner, but nothing a little lighting in ps would easily overcome.

and well i just really love the fact that the kodak has RAW and Tiff. instead of only jpg.

I gues i'm just bullheaded lol
though much people said canon i didnt really got a : "Why canon" or "why not kodak"
Still thanks for all the comments.

I'd get the Kodak. Why? Because the Canon will suck battery's. I've had a trust camera, which also uses AA batteries, with normal AA batteries it doesn't even work. The Kodak has a accu, which is much better. I'm sure you will decrease the size of the pictures anyway (the Canon will do 3648x2736 and the Kodak somewhat smaller) so my vote goes for the Kodak.

Edit: I just saw your post, good choiche. I hope you'll enjoy it.
