OK, well I am going to be in Austrailia starting mid next week. I will be mainly in Coffs Harbour for my stay, but will spend a few days in Sydney.

What I want to know is, what is your favorite place to get a good bite to eat. I would prefer nothing too expensive nor to inexpensive, but I just want to get a good sense of what the local flavor is.

And if there is something I really should see while in Australia let me know as well. I probably wont be able to go back for a long time if at all, and I want to try and get in as much as possible.

I have done some research on the net for things to do, but the locals always are the best to ask, so I am asking it.

my advise is to use the word "root" in place of "thank"

the following example should work "I really appreciate it, I'd like to root you"

it's just common courtesy to learn local gramatical practices.

and given the worst case scenario, you shoudl be able to fall back on good(well actually mediocre at best) old McDonalds.
