Is anyone else playing now? Got my token yesterday, and I must say, this is amazing. To get into the beta you needed to preorder or had to have a VIP account on www.callofduty.com.
Better than COD4? It's made by the people who did COD3, which I didn't really like all that much. I heard that instead of helicopters you get attack dogs in multiplayer?
I like it more than COD4. The graphics are a bit more crisp, and its harder, which is a good thing for me personally. The spawn points in the beta are bad, but they are working on fixing them. The gun's are cool, and they sound good. The only thing I don't like is that the Bolt Action Rifles are no longer 1 hit kills, Its 2 to the body usually, and 1 headshot, so it makes it pointless to use them. Just use a 5emi auto.
Get out, don't blame everything on Treyarch for the downfall of Call of Duty 3. Treyarch itself is a very respectable company and is working in the best interest of the general gamer population. Take your problems with them elsewhere, this topic has nothing to do with Treyarch. Honestly, your post was useless and can be considered spam, so why don't you edit your post with something intelligent? Enlighten me on how bad Treyarch is. @On-Topic - I sent in for a token in a contest, but I guess I didn't win... I was hoping to get a key to test it myself, but I'm fairly sure Treyarch is working hard to make WaW the next CoD4.
Well, for all the people who say it's gonna suck, you are wrong. I am actually impressed greatly by Treyarch. However, it is more of COD 4.5. But, it is still very good, and I am glad I preordered. This will be my game for a long time.
No WW2 simulation game will rival CoD4 simply because people are far more interested in modern fighting as opposed to WW2. It may do ok, but CoD 1/2/3 all pailed in comparison to CoD4 simply because of the time-line. (Granted, it was a very well made game) But I highly doubt 5 will come near to the success. PS : Saying it's sucks is opinion, hush up. We'll see.
its a really good game but its like a cross between cod4 and cod2 its werid pritty much the same as cod4 just not as good graphics
What? GFX are worse in 5 than they are in 4? But yea, Treyarch is only making 5, it will be Infinity Ward from 6 on out. I hope they put out a demo so i know if i like 5 more than 4 before i waste $60 and not like it. And dogs instead of helicopters, eh? Interesting, how are they working out? I hope not as easy to kill as they are in 4's single player, lol.
