Well it definitely was not better last night, I wasn't even able to get online or make a party. It would give me an "EXCEPTION_BD_PUSH_DB" ERROR and same if I join a game with "EXCEPTION_BD_JOIN_DB" ERROR. I'm really disappointed with COD4 PS3 online and I've checked IW forums and others were having the same problems. Around 4am I was not getting those error's but then it was saying I was not signed into the PSN which I was, so I guess they shut down the server. The graphics are exactly the same on both systems other then the fact that the PS3 version runs natively in 720p. I have a 50" Sony SXRD that runs in 1080p natively but for some reason this game runs at 720p. In order for me to play COD4 on the PS3 in 1080p I have to disable all other resolutions from the XMB before playing and when I'm finished change them back so I can play other games that don't run in 1080p. I refuse to do that to get around a glitch in the game. It's really sad because it's such a great game but with all these problems it's making me dislike it. @ alexd - COD4 - PS3 Vs 360 Comparison HD Video Note - Becks, I'm not trying to make this a VS thread but I'm just disappointed with the PS3 version considering I've played both.
yeh i checked the ps3 forums and something is wrong with the game they need to update or sum rubbish like that!
With the quality of the video on Youtube it would be pointless to watch, I posted a HD video link above.
You know, the difference isn't anything... Makes me slightly happier that I bought a 360 in the long run. Shucks. Just bought CoD4 yesterday, first level rocked. :3
