My opinion so far on Cod2 So far this is what i have to say MP-Feels like there goin more for pub play this time around with the regen health and the enemy indicator. I like both so far(for pubs)because now you cant get nade spammed so easily and just die, if you ever play the clan LINK you know what im talkin about, The enemy indicator is interesting, it can be both good and bad, it makes it harder for people to just sit and camp w/out anyone finding you,but this only works when you shoot, so for exn railyard someone is camping above you and you dont know it, as soon as they shoot a little red dot goes on em for 5 sec after they stop shooting, it kinda just adds to figuring if your like gimli and you hear everything. BUt most likely will be taken out for competition. I give these a 7/10 The Maps are real nice,there not as big like UO but there more open then CoD. Dawnville's buildings and graveyard give you more room to run around and flank etc etc. I also love the new railyard I give the maps a 10/10 They completely nerfed the guns,where as in cod the recoil was decent now theres none at all. But there also weaker. They dont sound nearly the same and they made it where the carbine and garand can be useful now in competition play. If your a sniper you also get the advantage of holding your breathe stops the scope for a period of time. And the scopes look awesome now too. The Enfield scope is probably the coolest. They added some new guns as well, Each side gets the trenchgun (big shotgun I like ) along with the americans getting the grease gun(very similar to the thompson but a lil slower),the Russians get the PPSH42 is pretty much the 44 of the russians(havnt figured out how good this is yet), and the british also get the thompson,garand and to go with it its own scope. The smoke nades are also well done this time I think they come in handy .I give the guns a 9/10 **But there are no nade cooks or sprint but after playing it doesnt really matter** For SP I love it so far, im about the middle of the British campaigne. Although the russian campaigne seemed short it was alot of fun. Certain parts get ya nervous and the enemy AI is actualy semi intelligent,you will notice this on the russian mission with the tunnel's wont say anymore other than watch your step . Going from russian to British was also fun, but as you go this game of course gets harder and harder, you get alot of holy ---- were surrounded hold the ground til reinforcements get here as you only have a pistol. So its challenging at times but fun,the desert feels so nice while playing on it. More enjoyable then in Cod or UO. Of course you usually run out of ammo as well though and of course as british they let you play with other things than guns,theres artillery to screw with, A very nicely designed tank lvl where you have to follow behind some to live then next your in one, and these arnt the slow ones your used to in the first game,these things move and you get binocs for long ranged shots in em. But later on they really(IMO) capture the insanity that ensued in EGYPT in WWII you litterally get surrounded and the Thompson just doesnt have enough shots to take em all down. Smoke nades become very effective. Thats all i have so far for SP i give it a 10/10
Is CoD 2 for Xbox? If so, I might just rent it sometime soon. I've heard good things about the CoD series for the PC.
COD 2 comes out in Australia on November 3rd lol. Next Thursday. Only thing i don't get is the health regen, lots of people say it sucks, is it really that bad? I dunno, could be good for some tactics, but camping would be encouraged maybe? I dunno.
By the way, squeaks...your bandwith is exceeded ! lol. Looks like i gotta wait a tad longer to see movies and such from it
hope you get the videos put up somewhere else cuz i so wanna see em and can't wait till 3rd november here in uk for the game but i pre-ordered mine so please get the videos put up again if you can so me and others can see
