<span style='font-family:Comic Sans MS'>Ok I know how to take paths from Photoshop and export it as a .ai file so I can use them in C4D but when I try to make this one particular path 3D, C4D adds "stuff" to it that wasn't there in the original path. Ex: This is how the original path looks in C4D. <a href=\'http://img183.imageshack.us/my.php?image=pathcl5.png\' target=\'_blank\'><img src=\'http://img183.imageshack.us/img183/8646/pathcl5.th.png\' border=\'0\' alt=\'user posted image\' /></a> Ex: This is the "stuff" that C4D adds. <a href=\'http://img183.imageshack.us/my.php?image=path2hb0.png\' target=\'_blank\'><img src=\'http://img183.imageshack.us/img183/7097/path2hb0.th.png\' border=\'0\' alt=\'user posted image\' /></a> How do I fix this?</span>
hm.. Yes that tends to be a slight problem sometimes on complex paths ... All I can say is to that is you have to play around with the extrusion settings AND also there was a setting for the path settings ... Object settings or something [has B-Spline, Linear etc etc] You have to really play around until you get it right sort of thing with paths coming from Photoshop Most of the time it does add random things - Click the path and it should say object settings/type something similar and choose one of them - If it doesnt make a different then Im really not sure DarkStar
