    HOW TO MAKE EFFECT RENDERS:

make a new file in c4d
    go to objects>primitive>spear
    [IMG]

make the spear like double its orignal size
    [IMG]

go to objects>primitve and add a few more objects, dont move there axis just resize them

(RMEMBER TO USE OBJECTS WITH ROUNDED EDGES!!!!)

Now make a null objects and drag all you're objects into it, add a material (my material tutorial coming soon!!!)

now go to the triangle shape above ur object to the right and left click on it and drag right until OUTCOME!

you can play around with this method until u get realy nice renders!!!

dont fall for these lies about 'pro effect renders' they are the most basic render to make!!

    dont rip lawl

heres how the triangle thing and the lighting is done, the traignle is at the top of your render window and the lighting is just above that, just click the flashlight for the lighting, while the triangle is is, left click and hold->zoom in/out, right click and hold-> change perspective

Nice explanation, thanks for sharing it. And if your render is still gray... make sure you added materials before you did the lighting. Lighting shouldn't turn it gray. Effects renders are beyond simple to do.
