I think you need more color diversion in this tag. It has a very nice composition to it, but too much yellow and brownish colors. Try to bring him out more with some color diversion.

Yup. As said before, you need to add some more color... I would suggest you apply a layer mask and set it to overlay and erase parts... Add some more vibrance to you sig.

    I see

    - Unsized render as background.
    - Smudged.
    - Render pasted on top.
    - Light source.
    - Text.

Biggest thing I think you need to work on is composition. All your tags are vertically over-sized, and it shows in the final composition, and probably explains why you struggle to create enough effects to balance out a tag. I'd recommend you try going in the opposite direction, as far as contrast goes. All your designs are extremely over-contrasted, and that results in a very irritating wash-out of colour. Try to stay away from putting gradient overlays on soft-light, and try learn a few new colouring techniques.

That's about as critical I can be....

Good crit mate, i appreciate it but ive only just started doing the large tags, most of mine are 350 x 115 but i started going for a 350 x 200 for realism as it was a decent size to see the real picture i found, i dont know why i stayed with this size on this i suppose i just wanted to fit the render in nicely without crushing him right down to sprite size.
This is the sort of comments im looking for so thank you very much
