Ok everyone I am going to be attempting to build my own compy here over the next couple of months. The parts that will be bought are going to be bought one by one as I am on a pretty limited budget. Another thing that you have to understand is that I am not building a compy for gaming purposes, all I want it to do is be fast and efficient for everyday purposes and for Photoshop. well thanks for the reply but to tell the truth almost everything you linked me to is over what I am willing to spend. I know getting those would most likely work out better but I just can't spend that much money on a compy. I need to keep my spending in the range of about 300-400 dollers but nothing over 400.
okay, stay with everything, but trust me, the extra $15 for the gfx card is WORTH IT!!! dont short out on that.
like I already said I don't even think I am going to get a GFX card as the Mobo that I am getting has a Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950, and I don't plan on doing any gameing what so ever. The only thing that I would actually benefet on haveing a GFX card from is in working with photoshop and the GFX card would not help out much there, if at all. (at least I don't hink so)

cases are all personal preference. no point in suggesting... You'll need a gfx card if you want to upgrade to Vista, or else the special graphics vista will have, wont be there for you. You will need a gfx card for any photoshop work greater then like 500*500 dimensions. any c4d work with integrated... will never happen.
the primary advantage of a GFX card given his general use needs would be the simple fact thatit would free up some system ram... though with 1GB he'd likely be fine seeing as photoshop would likely be the most intensive thing he's doing. PS isn't affected to much by the gfx card. c4d would infact need a card though for the sake of sanity. The motherboard noted is more or less the cheapest one out there... in full seriousness I'd have to research to check if it has an adjustable FSB, if it does(and judging from the reviews it does) then go for it. again for a general use system on the given budget you really can't do much better. an athlon migfht give somewhat better single threaded performance, but who gives a damn this can handle twice as many threads...
Ditto man, I can' emphisize enought about how much of a buget I am on, not to mention that the mobo will have all the graphic capabilities that I will need more that likely. However I can alway get a graphics card later when I have the money to do so. I am only building a compy because it is by far cheaper than getting a new one and it will most likely run better.
Umm no, I am building this new compy becasue it is cheaper than buying a new one, and it will most likely run better. So basiclly it is for my self.
Photoshop requires decent graphics drivers to run smoother, I believe, could be wrong, but it's more than just games GFX cards are used for.
