Motherboard  http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16813131568 Processer http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16819103544 Ram http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16820145486 Gfx card  http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16814130281 Hard Drive http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16822136010 Psu http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16817103937 Sound Card http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16829102176 total = $1508 that about it what so u guys think if its good i will buy the parts this will be my first build
lol wow u did a pretty good job their, id change two things though... motherboad: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16813136152 RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16820231021 oh forgot a case... lol, what kinda case u want, ill refer you to one
LMAO... that's right.... get a cool case... then you are left with heat problems and slot amount issues... worry about the stats before you worry about the looks. Make sure the case will do what "Good" cases need to do before you look for "Show off" in the case... you can always go back and add neon to it and you can add glass siding... no biggie.
about the motherboard considering this is my first build i don't think that i should choose that dfi board i though about it but went with the asus what are the large adavtages the dfi have over the asus board but i like the ram is it compatiable with the asus board??
http://www.atxcases.com/products/productde...id=6&prodid=498 There's a neon case, if you still need it.
Buy a high quality system, need to get a high quality PSU. One of these three should do fine, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16817703001 http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?...N82E16817103931 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16817711002
For cases i'd go with http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16811129154 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16811112024
drop the sound card, the onboard sound on that board should be far more than aufficient, when you buy a top of the line baord you get some extras. as for the ram, get cheaper ram if you have no intention of overclocking. if you intend to overclock, get the G. Skill ram and an opteron 170 or 175(170 is a lot more bang/$). Bona Fide got his opteron 170 to 2.8ghz with onyl a .1V increase and on the AMD forums people are talking about geting opterons to 2.8-3.2ghz a moderate amount though I am sure they would have insane cooling for the upper values. one thing you forgot was a HSF. I've heard this is rather good, though you would need a roomy case http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16835154001 for cases, I'd go for that antec, the polished metal is just plain nice.
DFI, ftw. Fo shizzle. I like the parts, but what kind of budge are you running on? That processor is nearly as much as my whole system!
i got a "cool" case and now i cant live a normal life my case is so loud that im used to the sound and whenever im in a silent room i go crazy i always have to have a fan on or some loud noise near by
the DFI SLI-DR(or the ultra-D if you're willing to mod) is an excellent board. the board he recomended though is currently the "best" board out there, OCs like crazy and it's of great quality.
