Budgie Help....

    this is aaimed at ne1 who know nething about budgies...
    i have a white and blue budgie which has been sitting on the floor of the cage facing the corner for a few days and i need to put him on my finger to drink... his feathers are suddenly discoloured and he cant fly (he was never that good but still could) i think he may die and i understand it has to happen. ive had him many years but maybe its his time. however if there is anyone who can help me please do. :) thanks. sorry for posting at GR (not exactly the best place :)) but i could not find anywhere else :)

    Have you thought of taking it to the vet?
    Surely its the first thing somene would have thought of.

    dad doesnt like vets as they neva help us :( just make things worse before.

    talk to the people at the pet store, and get new food...and whats wrong if it has to be put on your finger to drink?

    well i think if you already have it several years. and dont want to go to the vet:
    its his time.

    You need to take any pet to the vet regularly, you never know whats going wrong with it otherwise.
    I suggest you get it to a vet sharpish my friend

    is it female?
    if so then probly in Egg Season my Bird did summat the same spent ages i nthe cornering hissing if u went near it and stuff but if not female then hate ti say it but kinda sounds end for the poor fing

    its a boy :) ive put a ladder in there and its walked up to have a 5min drink :) the problem is its 2 weak to fly and if away 7-9hrs a day so it cant get water when im not there.
