    It may be a resource hog, but it certainly can create some nice looking abstracts. And it's FREE, something which Cinema 4D certainly isn't unless you get a pirated copy. So for people who choose to go the up and up route, it will work.

    There are tutorials on Deviantart on how to make models and abstracts in Bryce. I'm not really comparing the two. Of course Cinema 4D is better, but it's also not free by any means.
