He sold the credits he made from the money items for cash, so basically he ripped off the site. He had already been banned by the time Shaggy posted that, so when Shaggy said he wouldn't be banning people he meant those who were still waiting on a decision from us.

 

Just to add one last little bit to this...

Most of the mods did not agree to let him back, it was more of a 50/50 with an admin on either side, and shaggy had not seen the topic. For some reason he was allowed back prior to all of the staff voicing their opinion on the matter (which rarely happens).

Mafia knew exactly what he was doing was wrong in the first place and continued to do it. He sent credits to his other accounts, the sent them to people who paid for them, and he sent them to friends, he sold them for cheap and was trying to get them off his account as fast as possible, its blatantly knowing what he did was wrong and still continuing to do it.

He stole from the website by forcing credits to be made by the website and then selling those credits he made, it would have been the same if an admin or moderator were to give themselves credits and then sell them.

As for his last donator account, Shaggy, when I spoke with him last night, had not even recieved a payment for an account of bouboul to his paypal, so he must have just been given the donator by claiming he paid for it through another administrator, as Shaggy is the one who upgrades the accounts solely since he is the only one capable of checking the transactions on his paypal.

The reason Tiller got a second chance is because 1) he stopped before they got REALLY out of hand, 2) he didnt send them to alot of accounts like mafia did, hence an easy cleanup, 3) he didnt go straight off and sell all the credits he made. Tiller was given a worse rep from the whole thing because he was the one with the least rep out of the whole deal, if they were all equally reputable, then tiller wouldnt have gotten the downside from the members.

Shaggy has made it VERY clear that anyone who made those credits and sold them so we could not take them from the people who paid real money from them will not be allowed back on this site at all. Not only did he steal from the community, he stole from you, the staff, and Shaggy personally (seeing as how he owns this server). He could technically press legal charges against Mafia for what he did, so I think keeping him banned from the site is a VERY courteous punishment. All the credit scams in total brought in over 400,000 credits in ONE day, and sold off for a ratio of 250-350:1, which directly responded to why our current ratio of 225-250:1 came about.
