I'm gonna make it a short vote this time. I'm at school for the whole week, and this is the only free time i have. And i don't wanna let Kazuya down, so i'm still voting.

    BlzrD:
    - the hair looks bad
    - some black outlining around the face

The picture wasn't too difficult to cut, so i think you could do better. Also this picture isn't very original, it has been done many times.

    Pro Evo Graphics
    - The hair looks really choppy, it could have been so much better.
    - The way that the hair looks, makes me think you used magic wand. That is a bit too easy to have a good result.

The picture was unique, but it has been done some times now.

Both pictures are quite usable, and have good size. Both pictures weren't on a very difficult background, so i can only vote on the cut.

BlzrD gets my vote, his render looks much smoother, althought the hair looks realy bad, it still is better than Pro Evo's.

And Shneaky, don't be so stupid in saying that he need permission from the artist. You entered a picture from CG-talk yourselve, and still claiming you didn't had to ask permission. I don't wanna attack you on saying this, but i just want to show you, your own mistake

This time around I've decided to adapt a different method of voting. Just to see how it'd work out. I've also decided to make it more strict and criticizing as well ;)

The following is a little off topic but you must ALL know:

    Some changes with my voting:

Difficulty: I'll no longer say 7 is average. 4 is now average in my book. So, for example, when I used to say 7, it implied that I thought it was not very difficult. Anything below 8 in my book was not difficult. 7 was average. However 4 is now average and 6 should be more common among the renders. This is due to the overall ROTY results and there are less and less renders to judge on so stricter judging is required.

    --------------------------
    BACK TO THE JUDGING

    Blzrd

    Usability
At a minimum. If this image were to be blended it'd be almost invisible.
This IS the Terminator... if it were put into a sig I'd terminate it because the quality is low and poor for blending. What is good is that it's POSSIBLE and if pulled off correctly it might be a great sig. More useful for web graphics than sigs, anyway.

    Difficulty:
I say 6/10. I believe there's universal agreement on that if not lower since it doesn't look very difficult at all. I usually do not give anything below a 5 because the effort, time and final touches all add up to about 5, anyway.

    Quality:
The quality of this image is decent. I've seen worse, but I've absolutely seen much better. However it's pretty decent if you're just going to display it and not use it. I say decent quality.

    Size:
Terribly small-looking. It's not a close-up, anything that is not appears to be quite small. The Terminator's head is microscopic, however, but the size is good for sigs and web graphics.

    Originality:
I've never seen this image done before, actually! :D

    --------------------------

    Pro Evo Graphics

    Usability
Very useful for signatures and web graphics alike and good for special effects. However blending with this should be tough because of all the hair, so only some regular effects could be useful with this one. Very usable.

    Difficulty:
I say 9.6/10. Even with my new rating standards this still looks extremely difficult and I can give it no other than a 9.6/10. I believe this must've taken you hours. Very difficult! :D

    Quality:
Excellent quality, although I agree with the fact that some of the hair is choppy. This is a major factor and I think it managed to pull through very well.

    Size:
Very good size. In this case it's good for even some larger graphics (however not so much) as well as the usual - signatures and web graphics.

    Originality:
I have seen this done many times, in fact. Mostly with better quality than this render. It gets boring, seeing it so many times, but it's always interesting to examine the renders with their different rendering methods. Not too original.

    VOTE GOES TO...
    My vote goes to... *drumroll*

Pro Evo Graphics! Although your image wasn't necessarily original it's always a very useful render and it has excellent quality. My congratulations to you, and good job to both of you! :D

I'm gonna go ahead and use Nightfire's "4 being average" thing :)

    Blzrd

    Usability
I would have to say that this is very unusable. It is VERY dark, and the extra parts you cut were really unneccesary. What I mean by the extra parts, is the robots he is holding and the lightning etc. I don't believe people should render things they know aren't going to be used, so because of this, I give the usability a 3/10. The only part usable is his face...
    Difficulty:
Difficulty of cutting is going to be alot higher than usability. Even though you cut the parts that weren't useable by any means, you still cut the parts that were difficult. Such as the lighting and stuff was pulled off quite nicely. This earned you a 8/10.
    Quality:
The quality is only average. I've seen MUCH better pictures in quality, and when this thing is resized, not many of the features on the useable part will be noticable. This gets you a 5/10.

    Size:
The OVERALL size is good, but since the individual parts that could be used are small, this doesn't go well for signatures at all. It could go well for big graphics, which I don't know who would make a big graphic with this. 4/10

    Originality:
I haven't seen this before, but terminator isn't exactly original as far as graphics go. This is a 7/10.

5.4, a little bit above average.
    --------------------------

    Pro Evo Graphics

    Usability
I think this is VERY useable. You didn't render anything useless. It is great for large web graphics and signatures alike.
    9/10

    Difficulty:
This one is quite difficult. The background is dark, and the hair isn't exactly completely contrasted. I give this a 8/10
    Quality:
Great quality. When this render is resized, you can still makeout every feature that you will be using. I give quality a 9/10

    Size:
Size is decent. It COULD be bigger. But since it's an upper body shot, and it's a big picture in general, that means that you will be able to resize everything and keep all the useable parts.
    Originality:
Meh, I have seen this done 3 times now. I know it's very useable, since I see people using it quite often. So, for this I'm gonna give you a 4/10.

    VOTE GOES TO...
    Pro Evo Graphics
I liked this render alot. It's not exactly original, but it is VERY useable, and in my oppinion, was better in every way :) .

    ok lets satrt the judging:

    BlzRD:

Very nice clean cut, no inperfections anyweare. It looked like it was preatty hard to cut. Its a nice size, very usable in any type of gfx. And ive never seen it before so its very unique.

    Pro Evo Graphics:

Very nice clean cut all away around, looks like it was VERY hard to cut, nice size, very usable in any type of gfz. And very unique as well.

Ok well you are both preatty much equal so this is gonna be hard...

    I vote for ...

    Pro Evo Graphics GMV

    Good n3's both

    Ok getting started

    BlzRD:

Difficulty: Ok difficulty, judging for the original image you can easily see that the renderd part stick out from the background, anyway there are some hard parts like some parts of his shirt, pants and hair.. Difficulty: 7/10

Uniquness: Never saw this render before, just in some sigs a while ago so its preety unique for me but i can tell its has been done before.. Uniquness- 8/10

    Usability:
Usable, i can see myself using this in grunge and this would probably my first chioce in a tech sig ^^ :) Usability- 8/10, for me because i like grunge

How Well The Image Has Been Cut: great cut not choppy at all! Ive been looking at this render for quite a while and didnt see any major flaw that would reduce its usability so preety good 9/10 (the hair could be better)

Size: Not so big, but doesnt really matter, you save the image put it on your sig and you dont even need to resize it! lol, ok size is 7/10 cuz it isnt so big but it doesnt really matter in a sig so np

    ------------------

    Pro Evo Graphics:

Difficulty:  *dies* Extremly hard to render, but if ya look at the original you see thats its only a white bg so hard but i rate this 7.5/10, still hard

Uniquness: saw this in many sigs before but never renderd (off topic: i have been looking for this so thx  ) ok back on the render this doesnt come in renders section a lot so preety unique :)

Usability: Usable usable and usable, this is usable! Very high usability i give it about 9/10 works well with smudge, abstract any style except for grunge so 9/10 ^^ ^_^

How Well The Image Has Been Cut: Choppy on the hair a bit, i dont think its noticable after resizing it so not a major problem but its a bit flawless so 8/10

Size: Its huge, as render should be, amazing size 10/10

    ------------------

    Last looks

BlzRD: Good render only negative things coming from not from you but from the render are the size, usability higer than normal 8/10

Pro Evo Graphics: Coming from you- the hair, could be cutten out better coming from the render: nothing at all good size and usability 8/10

After lots of thinking about this *drumrolls*

Pro Evo Graphics GMV! Amazing render! Both of the render were amazing but i had to choose Pro Evo for the renders usability, god job both of you!

    Blzrd

    - Nice grungy type render - Robotic
    - Pretty hard to render due to bumps and rips on clothing & not forgetting the hair and robot
    - I have only seen this render ONCE so far in my time at GR so quite unique
    - Slightly odd shaped render - If put onto sigs its either the main part of Terminator or the robot getting dragged or the gun :)
    - Cut Very smoothly even though the image is not smooth itself but cut to Premium standard - I cannot see any mistakes - Perfect
    - Decent size

    Pro Evo Graphics

    - Very hard due to hair placement
    - Nice render choice looks more complex to render
    - i see spots missing - white
    - Choppyness on hair - bumpy
    - Nice quality render
    - I have seen this render multiple times at GR so not unique
    - Usable in some sigs because too much hair covering render - Better usuable in WP
    - Size is pretty decent

Both renders have been viewed under Internet Explorer and Firefox - To see what is the advantages and disadvanges stated above

    My vote goes to ....

Blzrd due to the fact that its less choppier and cutted decently - PEG yours was cut to good standard but the hair was bumpy quite often and you missed a spot on the Top RHS

    7-6 to Blzrd
